Supervised visitation, handled with care
Every child benefits from a strong relationship with the people who love them. When family circumstances make that connection more complicated, our Family Enrichment Program provides a safe, supportive space for parents and children to spend time together.
What is supervised visitation?
Through supervised visitation, our trained staff create an environment where families can connect with confidence, comfort, and care. This isn’t about surveillance — it’s about giving every family member the support they need during a challenging season, so relationships can grow stronger.
Supervised visitation means that a trained professional is present during parent-child visits to help ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of everyone involved. Visits take place in a warm, welcoming setting designed to feel comfortable for children and parents alike.
Our role is to support the relationship, not to judge it. Many of the families we work with are navigating difficult transitions, and our goal is to help them move forward — not to make an already hard situation feel harder.
Who this program serves
Families come to us through a variety of paths, including:
- Court-ordered visitation as part of a custody or divorce proceeding
- Reunification after a period of separation
- Situations where a neutral third party helps everyone feel more secure
- Families working to rebuild trust and strengthen communication
What to expect
Every family’s situation is different, so we work closely with parents, attorneys, and the court to shape a schedule and setting that fits your specific circumstances. We offer appointment times across weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and visits typically run anywhere from one hour to four hours or longer, depending on what your court order calls for.
Visits and exchanges can take place at our office or, depending on your court order, at a location of a parent’s choosing. When exchanges happen at our office, our layout — including multiple waiting areas — is designed to help parents avoid crossing paths and keep the moment as low-conflict as possible for everyone, especially the child.
Children are welcome to bring along the things they’d normally have with them; if you have any specific concerns, just let us know ahead of time. Throughout the visit, our trained supervisor observes the interactions and documents the session on a standardized form. In the rare case that a serious incident occurs, the supervisor has the discretion to end a visit early to protect everyone’s safety and wellbeing.

Information for courts & referring professionals
We partner closely with courts, attorneys, and case managers to support families through the legal process. Our team provides:
- Detailed, objective visit documentation — session reports summarizing our observations and the interactions we witnessed
- Reports shared with attorneys, the court, a Guardian ad Litem, and both parents as needed, typically completed within a few days of the visit
- Trained, credentialed supervision staff
- Clear communication with referring professionals throughout the case
- Availability for testimony when required — contact our office to discuss
